Desjardins Global Asset Management Inc. has added another geographic building block to its suite of multi-factor exchange-traded funds that seek to deliver equity-market returns with below-average volatility.
Desjardins Developed ex-USA ex-Canada Multifactor-Controlled Volatility (symbol: DFD) opened for trading today on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Its strategy is to replicate the performance of the Scientific Beta Developed ex-USA ex-Canada Multifactor-Controlled Volatility Index, net of fees and expenses. The management fee of 0.60% also covers most operating expenses.
The newest Desjardins offering joins similarly managed ETFs investing in Canadian and U.S. stocks, respectively, which were part of Desjardins' opening ETF line-up on April 3. Still to be launched is a fifth equity ETF, Desjardins Emerging Markets Multifactor-Controlled Volatility, which has received final prospectus approval.
